Start! Art Curator Season 2

SAC Gallery unveils a new generation of curators selected from the “Start! Art Curator Season 2” project, continuing the project’s success in the first year. By accepting new generations who are interested in curatorial work, those who are selected will be able to work with a team of professionals in real work and opportunities to create exhibitions and exhibited at SAC Gallery in 2022 by those selected in the “Start! Art Curator Season 2” project; Kukasina Kubaha, Panod Srinual and Trithida Trising; a new group of curators who applied for a group form with the issue of the presentation of the transgender labour group that does not match the image in the mainstream media through contemporary works of art  in “Crossing the Lines”.

 

Jongsuwat Angsuvarnsiri, Managing Director at SAC Gallery, said, “For this project, We have been organizing the event for the 2nd year. The results of the first project have received a good response. It has received attention from both those interested in participating in the project and personnel in the art industry. It was considered very successful in terms of the learning program of the participants and an exhibition that is like a final exam. We are delighted to be a part of the development of more people in the arts, opening experiences and allowing new generations to work in the industry, is the biggest goal that we will provide opportunities for the new generation come to create the new thing the Thai art industry. We expect that in the future through this project. We will see creative works from both young curators, including new artists who will come together to create new works of art.”

เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี (SAC Gallery) เปิดตัวภัณฑารักษ์รุ่นใหม่ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกจากโครงการ “Start! Art Curator Season 2” สานต่อความสำเร็จของโครงการในปีแรก โดยได้เปิดรับสมัครคนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีความสนใจในงานภัณฑารักษ์ผู้ที่ผ่านคัดเลือกจะได้ร่วมงานกับทีมงานมืออาชีพในการทำงานจริง และโอกาสในการสร้างสรรค์นิทรรศการ และจัดแสดงที่ เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี (SAC Gallery) ในปี พ.ศ. 2565 โดยผู้ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกในโครงการ “Start! Art Curator Season 2” ได้แก่ กูกสิณา กูบาฮา, ตรีธิดา ไตรสิงห์, และปณต ศรีนวล กลุ่มภัณฑารักษ์รุ่นใหม่ที่สมัครเข้ามาในรูปแบบกลุ่ม กับประเด็นการนำเสนอของกลุ่มแรงงานของกลุ่มคนข้ามเพศที่ไม่ตรงกับภาพจำในสื่อกระแสหลักผ่านผลงานศิลปะร่วมสมัย ในนิทรรศการ “Crossing the Lines: แรงงานข้ามเส้น”

 

คุณจงสุวัฒน์ อังคสุวรรณศิริ ผู้บริหาร เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี (SAC Gallery) ได้กล่าวว่า “สำหรับโครงการนี้ เราได้ดำเนินการจัดมาเป็นปีที่ 2 แล้ว ซึ่งในครั้งแรก ซึ่งผลการดำเนินโครงการครั้งแรกก็ได้รับกระแสตอบรับที่ดี ได้รับความสนใจจากทั้งผู้สนใจร่วมโครงการและแวดวงบุคลากรในวงการศิลปะ ถือว่าประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างมากทั้งในแง่ของโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ของผู้ร่วมโครงการ และนิทรรศการที่เปรียบเสมือนการสอบปลายภาค เรารู้สึกยินดีที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการพัฒนาบุคลากรในวงการศิลปะเพิ่มขึ้น การเปิดประสบการณ์และมอบโอกาสให้คนรุ่นใหม่ได้ก้าวเข้ามาทำงานในวงการถือเป็นความมุ่งหมายใหญ่ที่สุดที่เราจะได้เปิดโอกาสให้มีบุคลากรใหม่มาช่วยกันเติมสีสันในวงการ เราคาดหวังว่าในอนาคต เราจะได้เห็นผลงานการสร้างสรรค์จากทั้งภัณฑารักษ์รุ่นใหม่ที่ผ่านโครงการนี้ รวมถึงศิลปินหน้าใหม่ที่จะได้มาร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะใหม่ให้กับวงการศิลปะไทยต่อไป”
