Kim Doyeon

Kim Doyeon (b.1992) centers her work on how personal experiences are shared, aiming to evoke a sense of coexistence that includes even invisible elements of life through both individual narratives and broader dialogues with all living beings. She has created a series of drawings in response to letters received from exhibition viewers and has organised two-person exhibitions through exchanges with artists who share similar bodily experiences. Kim primarily works with finely detailed oil paintings and prints, employing a meticulous, persistent drawing technique that incorporates her own stories and gestures, expanding the possibilities for communication.
