Recent Works

The exhibition "Recent Works" extends a warm invitation to engage with the evolving creative journeys of 15 distinguished artists from SAC Gallery. This showcase represents a moment of artistic transition, where artists present their latest endeavors. Their contributions may spring forth from ongoing research, or they may unveil entirely new concepts and directions. 

This platform offers artists the opportunity to intimately connect with our discerning audience, sharing the very essence of their current passion and curiosity. Concurrently, we encourage our active audience members to immerse themselves in this dialogue, fostering a space for constructive feedback and reflective discourse on the artists' "recent works." This exhibition also serves as a lens through which to glimpse the thematic landscape of contemporary Thai art. 

In the first gallery, artists such as Prateep Suthathongthai, Jarasporn Chumsri, juli baker and summer, and Tintin Cooper venture beyond the confines of the present, navigating the interconnected realms of history, futurism, technology, and our surroundings. Conversely, artists like Kitikong Tilokwattanotai, Kanchalee Ngamdamronk, Naraphat Sakarthornsap, and Gi-ok Jeon delve into the nuanced intricacies of interpersonal dynamics, allowing our interactions and responses towards one another to shape their artistic narratives.

Stepping into the second gallery, visitors are encouraged to introspect, mirroring the artistic journeys of Trevor Foster, Vipoo Srivilasa, Aor Sutthiprapha, Pichai Pongsasaovapark, and Thanathorn Suppakijjumnong. The backdrop of a changing world, punctuated by pandemics and environmental concerns, compels us to confront our own mortality and the fragility of existence. Concluding this introspective journey within the same space, Phannapast Taychamaythakool and Jiratchaya Pripwai employ art as a conduit to gather thoughts and traverse dreamscapes and meditative realms, respectively.

Although this exhibition only provides a carefully curated portion of each artist's oeuvres, it also serves as a prelude to the diverse talents of the artists within SAC Gallery's roster. Recent Works is a preview of the artists' forthcoming works that will follow in their future exhibitions with the gallery.
