ภาษาไม่เพียงเป็นโครงสร้าง แต่ยังเป็นความรู้สึก เป็นการส่งผ่านที่เกินเลยขอบเขตของถ้อยคำ ในนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรก “Resonant Abstractions” ดีใจ โกสิยพงษ์ สำรวจความสัมพันธ์อันลึกซึ้งระหว่างการสื่อสารกับการแสดงออกทางศิลปะ ด้วยการเชื่อมโยงโลกของภาพและเสียงเข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อสร้างบทสนทนาที่กระตุ้นประสาทสัมผัสหลากมิติ

แก่นสำคัญของผลงานชุดนี้คือการสำรวจภาษา ไม่ใช่ในฐานะระบบตายตัว แต่เป็นรูปแบบที่ลื่นไหลและเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่เสมอ จิตรกรรมแนวนามธรรมของเธอได้แรงบันดาลใจจากจังหวะและโครงสร้างของรูปแบบทางภาษา ถ่ายทอดไวยากรณ์ จังหวะ และน้ำเสียงออกมาเป็นองค์ประกอบที่มีชีวิตชีวาของสี ท่วงท่า และรูปทรง ผลงานเหล่านี้ไม่ใช่การแปลความตรงตัว แต่เป็นการตีความ เสมือนเสียงสะท้อนที่มองเห็นได้จากสถาปัตยกรรมอันล้ำลึกที่หล่อหลอมวิธีการสื่อความหมายของเรา

คู่ขนานไปกับจิตรกรรมเหล่านี้คือ “เสียง” ที่ขยายแนวคิดนามธรรมสู่มิติของการได้ยิน ศิลปินแปลงสิ่งที่มองเห็นให้กลายเป็นเสียง ผสานโทนเสียง พื้นผิว และการสั่นพ้องในกระบวนการที่คล้ายกับสัทศาสตร์หรือบทกวี ในการปฏิสัมพันธ์นี้ ผลงานศิลปะของศิลปินสื่อสารถึงกันข้ามสื่อ สร้างระบบการสื่อสารที่เข้าถึงได้ด้วยความรู้สึกมากกว่าความหมายตรงไปตรงมา

ใน “Resonant Abstractions” ดีใจท้าทายให้เราฟังด้วยสายตาและมองเห็นด้วยการได้ยิน สัมผัสการสื่อสารในรูปแบบที่สั่นสะเทือนเกินกว่าคำพูดหรือตัวอักษร ผ่านการผสานกันของภาพวาดและเสียง นิทรรศการนี้จะเชิญชวนเราเข้าสู่พื้นที่ซึ่งภาษาละลายกลายเป็นความรู้สึกบริสุทธิ์ และความหมายใหม่ปรากฏขึ้นในช่องว่างระหว่างสรรพสิ่ง

Language is a structure, but it is also a sensation—an act of transmission that exists beyond the limits of words. In her first solo exhibition, Resonant Abstractions, D-Jai Kosiyabong explores the fundamental relationship between communication and artistic expression, bridging the visual and auditory realms to create an immersive, multisensory dialogue. 

At the heart of this body of work is an investigation of language, not as a rigid system, but as a fluid, evolving form. Kosiyabong’s abstract paintings take inspiration from the rhythmic and structural qualities of linguistic patterns, distilling syntax, cadence, and tone into dynamic compositions of color, gesture, and form. These works are not direct translations but rather interpretations—visual echoes of the invisible architectures that shape how we convey meaning. 

Paired with these paintings are sound compositions that extend the act of abstraction into the auditory sphere. Kosiyabong transforms the visual into the aural, layering tones, textures, and resonances in a process akin to phonetics or poetry. In this interplay, the works speak to each other across mediums, forming a system of communication that is intuitive rather than literal. 

In Resonant Abstractions, Kosiyabong challenges us to listen with our eyes and see with our ears, to experience communication as something that reverberates beyond the spoken or written word. Through this interplay of painting and sound, the exhibition invites us into a space where language dissolves into pure sensation, and meaning emerges in the spaces between.
