Chayanin Kwangkaew Thai, b. 1990

Graduate from B.F.A and M.F.A of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University.

 

He won Second place, Krung Thai Art Awards 3 in Thailand in 2017, was highlighted in some group exhibitions in Malaysia and joined the Art Expo 2016 – 2018 in Malaysia, Featured in the 4th UOB Painting of the Year competition and Singapore Art Stage 2017.

 

In every moment of situations in society, essence may be nonsense. Essence may hide in nonsense. Moreover, the miscellaneous may be an important connection to happiness in daily life. The process of Chayanin’s painting was used for showing space of negation between reason and emotion.

 

These express abstract forms integrating and coming along with concrete forms in the perception and the truth in urban society. These unreasonable behaviors, no matter about pithy things or nonsense things, are vital parts of connection among activities in daily life to balance and maintain our lives happily.
