“Food porn“ art exhibition is to present paintings and sculptures from the view points and the reflection of senses towards consumption, nature, desire, and demands of the six artists from Thai, America, France and China.

Moreover, even though they are from different foundations of cultures and different environments, they have some ideas that are same and coherent with each other. Those ideas are exhibited through 'Food' that is used to represent the other part of consumptive cultures which are always changing.

Nowadays food is used as a tool to send messages or a passage way to present selves to the world, especially on social media. Food is used in that way so often that sometimes one does not care about food quality, taste, nutrition, or even conversations with friends around the dining table. It happens so many times that we cannot deny to pose the question, “Are we consuming food? Or is food consuming us?“

The exhibition “Food porn” will be held on the first floor of Art Centre Bldg., SAC Gallery from 15 May until 15 June 2014. The official opening ceremony will be held on 15 May 2014, 6:00PM onwards.
