Human-Noid

The word, Human-Noid, is a pun from the word Humanoid which means being resembling or copying a human. Whereas Human-Noid in this exhibition of the two artists is presenting (para)noidness in human as Noid is a famous Thai slang referring to a symptom of overthinking, imagining things anxiously similarly to having an anxiety disorder. Believing that this Noid symptoms exist in himself, herself and all mankind, both of them chose to bring out their best skills, painting and sculpture, to creat the peculiarity of human's mind that is hidden knowingly or unknowingly.

 

The exhibition “Human-Noid” will be held on the first floor of Art Centre Bldg., SAC Gallery from 19 October until 20 December 2013. The official opening ceremony will be held on 19 October 2013, 6:00PM onwards.
