Art Cart 06: I love you to Phrom Phong and back

A Curated Presentation by: Thidarat Chantachua, Juli Baker and Summer (Chanaradee Chatrakul Na Ayudhya), Jarasporn Chumsri, Trevor Foster, Songwoot Kaewvisit, D-Jai Kosiyabong, Jayjeorje (Kanawut Krutnangrong), Kwanchai Lichaikul, Niam Mawornkanong, Krit Ngamsom, Vipoo Srivilasa, Thiti Teeraworawit, Chaiwoot Thaiampan, Wittawat Tongkeaw and Sumanatsya Voharn

Selected work presented in the Gallery Building with the Art Cart project in the month of love which was inspired by the sweet love phrase “I love you to the moon and back”, I love you as much as the distance to the moon and back. SAC Gallery would like to invite you all and your loved ones to come and see artworks at Phrom Phong, as “Art Cart 06: I love you to Phrom Phong and back“ from 14 artists.

When stepping into the exhibition area, an internationally acclaimed artist, Vipoo Srivilasa presents “F Plate Series: I Married For …” which is played with 12 words starting with the letter F that has a positive meaning. On the second floor, the works of Chaiwoot Thaiampan and Thidarat Chantachua depict things that are concomitant and indispensable, such as day and night, food and rice. It is also the picture of the place where couples often watch the sunset together as an acrylic painting called “A Place Where You Can Remember the Sea” by Niam Mawornkanong. Krit Ngamsom’s humorous Kinetic Artwork is installed alongside the oil paintings of Jarasporn Chumsri, the beloved one of the artist, Krit Ngamsom. Another female artist uses “love” as a vital medium in the Kintsugi creation of Sumanatsya Voharn.

On the third floor, there is “Love” that hides in pieces of art that have been interpreted in many aspects, love for science and knowledge that proceed endlessly as shown in the prints of Kwanchai Lichaikul and Trevor Foster. On the same floor, there are also the works of the artist, Songwoot Kaewvisit, a Chinese descent who strongly loves family and the works of Wittawat Tongkeaw, who uses painting skills to convey his love for ideology.

The speciality of this art cart is the first time that SAC Gallery has worked with 4 new generation artists namely Juli Baker and Summer, Jayjeorje, D-Jai Kosiyabong, and Thiti Teeraworawit, these artists have interpreted the viewpoints of love in their styles and presented through their works in their own ways. In addition to the works that will be installed for viewing, this Art Cart also has a lovely activity for all who support #equal marriage by registering for marriage in Lu language which is part of the work by Thiti Thiravorawit as well.

A curated Presentation “Art Cart 06: I love you to Phrom Phong and back” will be held on the first, second and third floor of Gallery Bldg., SAC Gallery from 8 February until 9 April 2022. May the love be with you.

งานคัดสรรที่นำเสนอในอาคาร Gallery (ตึกเล็ก) กับโปรเจกต์ Art Cart ในเดือนแห่งความรัก ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจจากประโยคบอกรักสุดละมุนอย่าง “I love you to the moon and back” ฉันรักเธอเท่าระยะทางไปกลับดวงจันทร์ เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี จึงอยากชวนคุณและคนที่คุณรักมาชมงานศิลปะกันที่พร้อมพงษ์ เกิดเป็น “Art Cart 06: I love you to Phrom Phong and back“ จากศิลปินทั้ง 14 ท่าน

เมื่อก้าวเข้ามาในพื้นที่จัดแสดง ผลงานของศิลปินผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานระดับนานาชาติ วิภู ศรีวิลาศ กับผลงาน “F Plate Series: I Married For …” ซึ่งเล่นกับคำ 12 คำ ที่ขึ้นต้นด้วยตัว F ที่มีความหมายในแง่บวก ต่อเนื่องมายังชั้น 2 ผลงานของ ชัยวุฒิ เทียมปาน และ ธิดารัตน์ จันทเชื้อ สื่อสารถึงสิ่งที่มักจะถูกหยิบยกและพูดถึงไว้คู่กัน เช่น กลางวันกลางคืน, ข้าวปลาอาหาร รวมทั้งภาพสถานที่ ที่คนมีความรักมักชวนกันไปชมพระอาทิตย์ตก ดั่งภาพเขียนสีอะคริลิกที่ชื่อว่า “สถานอันสามารถมองเห็นทะเล” ของ เนียม มะวรคนอง ผลงาน Kinetic Art แฝงอารมณ์ขันของ กฤช งามสม ได้ถูกติดตั้งเคียงข้างผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมัน ของ จรัสพร ชุมศรี หญิงอันเป็นที่รัก และศิลปินหญิงผู้ใช้ “รัก” เป็นสื่อสำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน Kintsugi ของ สุมนัสยา โวหาร

ณ ห้องจัดแสดงผลงานชั้น 3 ว่าด้วยเรื่อง “ความรัก” ที่ซ่อนความหมายในงานศิลปะแต่ละชิ้น ได้ถูกตีความออกมาในหลายแง่มุม ทั้งรักในวิทยาการและความรู้ที่เคลื่อนไปอย่างไร้จุดสิ้นสุด ดังปรากฏในผลภาพพิมพ์ของ ขวัญชัย  ลิไชยกุล และ เทรเวอร์  ฟอสเตอร์ ในห้องจัดแสดงชั้นเดียวกันนี้ ยังมีผลงานของศิลปิน ทรงวุฒิ แก้ววิศิษฏ์ ผู้รักมั่นใจความเป็นครอบครัวซึ่งเป็นลูกหลานของผู้มีเชื้อสายจีน และผลงานของ วิทวัส ทองเขียว ผู้ที่ใช้ทักษะจิตรกรรมถ่ายทอดความรักในอุดมการณ์

ความพิเศษใน Art Cart รอบนี้คือเป็นครั้งแรกที่ เอส เอ ซี แกลเลอรี ได้ร่วมงานกับศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ 4 ท่าน คือ Juli Baker and Summer, Jayjeorje, ดีใจ โกสิยพงษ์, ธิติ ธีรวรวิทย์ โดยศิลปินได้ตีความมุมมองของความรักในแต่ละแบบ และนำเสนอผ่านผลงานศิลปะในแบบของตัวเอง นอกเหนือจากผลงานที่จะติดตั้งให้ได้ชมแล้ว Art Cart ครั้งนี้ ยังมีกิจกรรมน่ารักๆ ให้ทุกคนที่สนับสนุน #สมรสเท่าเทียม ได้มาจดทะเบียนสมรสภาษาลู อันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของผลงาน โดย ธิติ ธีรวรวิทย์ อีกด้วย
